Rio de Janeiro City Marathon
On July 18, 2010 the city of Rio de Janeiro City Marathon will welcome over 18,000 runners to run along its beautiful beach coast.
It has been chosen as the most admired marathon in Brazil in 2009 by the readers of Revista O2 magazine. The 42km run will start at 7:30am at Recreio dos Bandeirantes and will pass through the city’s beautiful scenery of mountains and sea. The race is divided into three segments: Marathon (42km), Half-Marathon (21km) and Family Run (6km). Choose the right race and have fun!

7:30am – Starts from Praça Tim Maia, Recreio
11am– Award Ceremony (na chegada no Aterro do Flamengo)
Family Run – 6km
8am – Starts from Aterro do Flamengo
11am– Award Ceremony
(Half Marathon) Meia-Maratona – 21km
7am – Start: Praia do Pepe / Barra da Tijuca
11am – Award Ceremony (na chegada no Aterro do Flamengo)
